What is FynePDF?
FynePDF is an all in one AI powered PDF workspace. It gives you 36 plus tools to edit, compress, merge, convert, sign, and analyze PDF documents, all in your browser, with no software to install. On top of standard PDF tools, FynePDF includes AI features like Chat with Doc, Summarize, Compare, OCR, and Redact, plus specialized AI Agents for tasks like resume review, contract analysis, and citation checking.
Do I need to create an account to use FynePDF?
No account is required to use most tools. You can start working on your PDFs right away. Creating a free account unlocks your personal document library, cloud storage, and saves your usage history.
Does FynePDF work on all devices?
Yes. FynePDF works entirely in your browser, so it runs on Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android. No downloads or installations needed.
What file types does FynePDF support?
FynePDF primarily works with PDF files but also accepts Word docx, Excel xlsx, PowerPoint pptx, images JPG PNG TIFF WebP, EPUB, TXT, and webpage URLs. You can convert many of these formats to and from PDF.
How many tools does FynePDF have?
FynePDF offers 36 plus tools across four categories. Organize includes Merge, Split, Organize Pages, Extract Pages, Annotate. AI Tools includes Chat with Doc, Summarize, Compare PDF, Redact, OCR, PDF to Spreadsheet. Secure and Optimize includes Compress, Protect, Watermark, Sign, Repair. Convert includes PDF to Word, PDF to Excel, PDF to Image, Word to PDF, and more.
Is my data safe with FynePDF?
Yes. FynePDF uses 256 bit TLS encryption to protect all file transfers. Your documents are processed securely and are never shared with third parties.
How long do you store my uploaded files?
Files processed through a tool are automatically deleted immediately after your session. Files you save to your library are kept as long as your account is active. If you cancel a paid plan, you have 15 days to download your files before anything above the free limit is deleted. Free accounts keep files up to 100MB indefinitely, no expiry.
Is FynePDF GDPR compliant?

What AI tools does FynePDF offer?
FynePDF includes six core AI tools. Chat with Doc lets you ask any question about your document and get direct answers. Summarize condenses long documents into key points instantly. Compare PDF finds differences between documents. OCR extracts text from scanned documents and images accurately. Redact detects and removes sensitive information. PDF to Spreadsheet converts PDF data into organized Excel files.
What are FynePDF AI Agents?
AI Agents are specialized tools built for specific document tasks. Current agents include Assignment Review, APA Citation Checker, Resume Review, NDA Clause Extractor, Contract Verification, Bank Statement Analysis, Proposal Analyzer, Brand Guideline Checker, Plagiarism and AI Detector, and more. Each agent is designed to give expert level feedback on a specific document type.
Do AI features require a paid plan?
Most AI tools are available on the free plan with daily usage limits. Upgrading to Professional or Premium unlocks unlimited AI requests and higher file size limits.
What is the difference between the free and paid plans?
The Free plan gives you access to all tools with a 10 task daily limit and 500MB storage. Professional 10 dollars per month unlocks unlimited tasks, 5GB storage, and higher file size limits. Premium 20 dollars per month adds priority processing, 15GB storage, and 24 7 priority support. Enterprise offers custom limits for larger needs.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. You can cancel at any time from your account settings with no cancellation fees and no lock in contracts. When you cancel a paid plan, your files remain accessible for 15 days so you can download everything you need. After 15 days, files above the free tier limit are permanently deleted. Files under 100MB are kept in your free account indefinitely with no deletion.
Do you offer a discount for annual billing?
Yes. Choosing annual billing saves you 30 percent. Professional is 7 dollars per month billed annually versus 10 dollars monthly. Premium is 15 dollars per month billed annually versus 20 dollars monthly.
Why is my file not uploading?
The most common reasons are your file exceeds the size limit for your plan, free 25MB for AI tools, Professional 500MB, Premium 5GB. The file format is not supported. The PDF is password protected, use the Unlock tool first.
Can I process password protected PDFs?
Yes. Use the Unlock tool to remove the password before processing. You will need to know the current password to unlock the file.
What happens if a tool fails or produces an incorrect result?
Use the Repair tool for damaged PDFs. For AI tools, try re uploading the file. If the issue persists, contact our support team. Support is available 24 7 for Premium users and via email for Free and Professional users.
